People think strength looks like confidence.
Certainty.
Volume.
A good performance.

For me, strength looked very different.

Asking for help.
Admitting I was scared.
Stopping the performance.
Telling the truth.

That is why A Time for Heroes matters so much to me.
It isn’t about bravado.
It’s about stepping forward while the fear is still present.

Before going on stage, Meat Loaf openly admitted he was terrified.
He didn’t wait for the fear to disappear.
He didn’t hide it.
He went on anyway.

That mattered to someone who stuttered most of his life.
To someone who learned early that fear doesn’t mean stop. I
It means be honest and keep going.
